How to apply to this program-

  • Check whether you are eligible or not.
  • Personal assessment. For example- language skill, Education, Experience, age.
  • Expression of Interest (EOI).
  • Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA).
  • Application for Permanent Residence.
  • Confirmation of Permanent Residence (PR).
  • VISA processing.

> The Skilled Worker Overseas Stream is divided as follows-

Skilled Worker:

This stream operates through an ‘Expression of Interest’ scheme. Applicants who are qualified for this stream are asked to complete a set of questions and a score is given based on the responses.

  • Skilled Worker in Manitoba

The evaluation of skilled workers is not point-based. The Professional Worker in Manitoba Stream consists of two paths as part of the MPNP renewal:

  • Manitoba Work Experience Pathway

This stream is open for prospective applicants who are working in Manitoba with temporary work permits, or international graduates of Canadian post-secondary institutions.

  • Employer Direct Recruitment Pathway

Applicants will be eligible for this program if they meet the required criteria. In general, the evaluation is conduct by the MPNP. After the evaluation process candidates will receive an invitation to apply for a provincial nomination.

Skilled Worker Overseas

This stream selects foreign applicants through the Manitoba Skilled Worker Overseas Stream which is also a points-based scheme. There are few factors that formulate the point table, like- age, language skill, job experience, and education.

  • Manitoba Express Entry Pathway

Applicants who are eligible for the MPNP stream and who meet Express Entry criteria welcome to this pathway. The requirement is that candidates have to demonstrate experience in an occupation.

  • Human Capital Pathway

This stream is for international skilled workers with experience in certain occupations required by the Manitoba authority.

  • Business Investor Stream

Candidates who are interested in business are applicable to this stream. This stream also follows an ‘Expression of Interest’ framework where prospective applicants have to submit their intention to apply for the program.

  • Farm Investor Pathway

This stream is part of the Business Investor Stream. People with farm business experience and enough

money are eligible to immigrate to set up and run a farm in the province.

  • Pathway Entrepreneur

This Pathway allows the province to hire highly skilled foreign business owners who can migrate to Manitoba and set up their own business.

  • International Education Stream

The new International Education Stream (IES) provides is an easier pathway for Manitoba graduates who meet certain industry requirements. This stream is classified into three pathways: the Career Jobs Pathway, the Pathway for Graduate Internship, and the Student Entrepreneur Pathway.
